UDHAMPUR JUNE 5:– Under ‘Puneet Sagar Abhiyan’, NCC Cadets of 1 J&K Girls Battalion of Government College for Women Udhampur conducted cleanliness drive at Holi Devika River.
The NCC cadets encouraged the public to maintain cleanliness and regarding harmful effects of dumping garbage in water bodies. Udhampur Municipality also extended cooperation in the drive.
The drive was organised under patronage of Principal GDC Dr Monika Sharma and supervision of Associate NCC Officer Prof Shallu Jasrotia.
From Department of Music, GCW Udhampur, HoD Dr Seema Sharma and Associate Professors, Dr Sanjay Kumar and Yash Kumar also contributed in the event.
