Two PDD Employees Killed as Car Plunges into Gorge in Jandrola, Poonch

POONCH FEBRUARY 01:-A tragic road accident occurred at Jandrola area of Poonch on [date], when a car carrying four persons skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge.

In the accident, two persons lost their lives on the spot, while the other two sustained injuries and are reported to be in stable condition. The deceased have been identified as Chendsi Singh, son of Sukhdev Singh, a PDD employee and resident of Mohalla Kamsar, Poonch, and Kulbir Singh, also a PDD employee, resident of Mohalla Germally, Poonch.

Soon after the incident, locals and rescue teams rushed to the spot and launched relief operations. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The tragic incident has cast a pall of gloom over the area, with widespread grief expressed over the untimely demise of the two Power Development Department employees. Police have taken cognizance of the incident and further investigation is underway.
