Tribal Affairs Minister Javed Rana Calls for Swift Rehabilitation & Long-Term Strategies for Tribal Communities

SRINAGAR SEPTEMBER 04:-Tribal Affairs Minister Javed Rana today called for close monitoring of the swift rehabilitation of flood-affected families in underserved areas and the institution of long-term strategies for vulnerable tribal communities during a meeting with Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo.

The Minister stressed the need for vigorous inter-departmental coordination and regular monitoring to ensure timely implementation of tribal welfare schemes and projects across Jammu & Kashmir.

Rana further emphasized the importance of aligning the Union Territory’s tribal welfare efforts with NITI Aayog’s policies and directives, particularly with regard to mandated financial allocations for sustainable tribal development.
