Tourism sector suffered since 2014, No fruitful Pakage for Tour Operators :AKTO

Srinagar June 05 :–Association of Kashmir Tour Operators (AKTO) held a press conference at Hotel Asian Park today after noon.

In a statement to different media groups Hakim Shahid Hussain (General Secretary AKTO) said the tour and travel operators are suffering since 2014 and till date due to unavoidable circumstances occurred in J&K which gave a huge blow to economic development and survival to industry.

In a statement the association requested the LG Adminstration , Director Toursim to provide a fruitful package to Tour and Travel Operators so that this sector which is Life Line of J&K will be saved.

They Stressed the concerned authorities to facilitate soft loans for the travel trade from the 1600 crore liquidity package announced by financial minister earlier
