Three Drug Peddlers Apprehended with Narcotic Substance by Rajouri Police

RAJOURI JUNE 11:-In a significant action against drug trafficking, Thanamandi Police apprehended three individuals during a naka checking at Churung Bridge Thanamandi.

The Individuals were intercepted while traveling in an Alto K10 vehicle bearing registration number JK11B-7664. During checking approx 7.37 grams of heroin (chitta), a banned narcotic substance was recovered from their possession.

The individuals have been identified as Mohd. Shahrukh Dar S/O Mohd. Farooq Dar resident of Upper Bhattian,Toqeer Razaq S/O Mohd. Razaq resident of Kote Behrote and Irfan Hussain S/O Muneer Hussain resident of Khablan.

In this regard a case FIR No. 79/2025 has been registered at Police Station Thanamandi under the relevant provisions of NDPS Act.

The investigation is ongoing, and efforts are being made to uncover the broader network involved in the distribution of narcotics in the region. The swift action of Thanamandi Police reflects their continued commitment to curbing the menace of drug abuse and trafficking.
