RAJOURI JULY26 :- Government High School Gabbar Zone education Kotranka of Rajouri District has created a wave of concern among parents due to vacant posts of teachers. Nayeem Ahmed said that middle school was upgraded to high school in 2007 , while in the said school for about 16 years, the appointment of teaching staff in the school has not been implemented in the said educational institution due to the lack of teaching staff in the high school. Panchayat members and parents held a meeting. During the meeting, a resolution was passed and presented to the concerned .
Panchayat members and parents expressed their great concerned and said that earlier, district administration Rajouri and official of education department had appealed to the shortage of staff in the said school. Six special teachers have been appointed to provide education, due to which the learning education process of the children is being affected completely.
Arshid Hussain Mir, Naib sarpanch Rajnagar Upper Gabbar panchayat while talking to reporters, said that the only high school has been established in the said panchayat, while the number of students in the said school has been increasing strength in every years, but the education department is in deep slumber. He said that people’s demands have always been ignored while District Development Commissioner Rajouri and senior officials of Education Department were also met by delegations from Gabbar area of Budhal. He asked for the appointment of staff in the school, and our demand was limited to the assurance. He criticized and said that in recent days, the education department has transferred teachers, but not a single new teacher has been appointed in this school people’s of the said area was always ignored but on the contrary two teachers were transferred from the said educational institution already appointed due to which a wave of concern spread among the parents, he alleged. He said that people’s have protested several times regarding the lack of staff in the said high school , but the education department has transferred two teachers instead of appointing the new staff, which is playing with the future of the poor students.
Panch Mohammad Riaz Lon ward number four criticized the education department and said that the education department has completely failed to provide quality education to the students due to which the poor students have been forced to stumble about their future.
Another member, Muhammad Layqat Ali Kamlak, while talking to reporters, said that the education system in remote areas is in a dilapidated condition, in modern times, the children of remote mountainous areas are not being provided with quality education . Parents demanding from the higher authorities that the appointment of staff should be implemented as soon as possible in High School Gabbar, and parents are preparing to call for protest for their children rights he added.
