NEW DELHI MAR 05:-Human Rights Defender Tasleema Akhter, Chairperson of the Association of Terror Victims in Kashmir (ATVK), along with Dr. Amin, held a significant meeting with Lt. General VG Khandare, Principal Adviser, Ministry of Defence, at South Block, Sena Bhawan.
During the hour-long discussion, they addressed crucial issues affecting the youth of Jammu & Kashmir, including the role of the army, drug menace, unemployment, goodwill schools, women empowerment, and youth engagement in nation-building.
Tasleema Akhter highlighted her ongoing social work and empowerment initiatives, emphasizing her representation of Bharat (India) at the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC). She presented various strategies to tackle the challenges faced by youth and women in the region, underscoring the need for collaborative efforts to create a sustainable impact.
Lt. General VG Khandare commended her dedication and contributions, acknowledging her working capabilities and the impact of her initiatives. He assured full support in advancing her mission to uplift society, empower the youth, and strengthen the role of women in Jammu & Kashmir.
