RAJOURI, MAY 19:--For the last few weeks, various teams of Rajouri district administration have been conducting surprise inspections of a number of government institutions, including schools to enforce punctuality and discipline in the institutions.
But, in the press briefings district administration has not been disclosing any details about the employees found on unauthorized absence from duties.
This indicates that either the employees have become faithful towards their duties or the administration avoids disclosing the details.
Even the District Information Officer (DIO) faces an embarrassing situation whenever contacted regarding the details about the absentee employees or actions against erring employees if any.
On Thursday the teams conducted a surprise inspection of a number of government institutions across the district. But once again, not provided any details about actions, if any.
The inspection was carried out under the directions of Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal in the Rajouri and Koteranka subdivision.
The institutions inspected during the surprise visit included govt primary school (GPS) at Dhanshabad (Kheora); GMS at Kheora; stationery depot, KVIB office; RMD SICOP, CAO & Commerce and Industries offices, while in Koteranka, the institutions inspected included Middle Schools at Jaglanoo & Draj and high school at Samote.
In schools ADC Koteranka, Surinder Mohan Sharma and ACR, Imran Rashid Kataria inquired about the facilities being provided to the students and advised them to dream big and work hard to achieve the desired goals of their lives.
During the inspection of the offices, they also asked the officers and officials to ensure that quality services are provided to the general public so that they don’t face any inconveniences.
“Inspections would be carried out on a regular basis and strict action will be taken against the erring officials as per the norms in case of any laxity,” said the officers.
