SOPORE MARCH 30:-Four and six days long Skill Training Programme for Rural Youth (STRY) on “Insect Pest Management In Agricultural Crops, Scientific Beekeeping, Insect Pest Management In Fruit Crops and Insect Pest Management In Vegetable Crops which were organised by Division of Entomology FOA, Wadura SKUAST -K at Wadura Campus Kashmir today concludes on 30th,of March 2022.
The training programme was inaugurated by Honble Dean FOA, Dr Raihana Habib who was also the chief Guest on the occasion. Today, on the Validicatory Function, she acknowledged that the youth have sufficient potential and they should utilize this potential for self-sustenance. she further promised them to impart more advanced trainings in future.
Dr Imtiyaz Ahmed Lone, Prof. & Head Division of Horticulture FOA acknowledged that youth can involve themselves in setting up Scientific Beekeeping on cluster basis. He assured trainees to provide all the technical support from SKUAST-K Wadura.
The guests and trainees were formally welcome by Dr. Ishtiyaq Ahad, Asstt Prof. Division of Entomology ( FOA).
