Handwara Mar 15:-‘The People in the Palpora (Handwara) Staged a protest on the lackness of the Water availability in their area. They assembled in large groups and people went on roads and did sloganeer against the Concerned officials.
The People of the Said Village “said that they approached the concerned officials many times (including BDC’s DDC’s Sarpnachs and Panchs) and other officials) but nothing has been done in this regard. They Overwhelmingly Added that “We are being forced to consume contaminated water, which has affected our health,”.

Meanwhile, Sub-Inspector of the Magam Mr Suhaib Ahmad Went there while clearing the roads from the large gatherings, assuaged the people that their problem will get resolved as soon as possible. People of the same area appealed the Administration that They are having lots of obstacles with the said problem from long time and water indeed is very essential for Survival, therefore their problems must get resolved so that the people of Palpora won’t suffer anymore.
