SRINAGAR APRIL 18:-With deep sadness, Muhammad Faheem Reshi, socio-political activist, expressed heartfelt condolences on the passing of one of Kashmir’s most respected religious scholars, Allama Agha Syed Mohammad Baqir Al-Moosavi Al-Najafi of Budgam.
Allama Baqir Sahib was a guiding light of knowledge, devotion, and service. His lifelong dedication—from the esteemed seminaries of Najaf Ashraf to the spiritual and educational upliftment of Kashmir—has left a lasting impact on generations, Reshi said.
Reshi acknowledges his significant contributions to the religious, educational, and social landscape of our region.
His loss is not just a profound sorrow for Budgam and Kashmir but a great void felt across the global Shia community, he said.
In this moment of mourning, we pray to Almighty Allah (SWT) to grant him the highest place in Jannat al-Firdous, to bless his family and followers with strength and patience, and to ensure that his legacy continues to inspire and guide us all.
