THANNAMANDI AUGUST 09:–A pivotal review meeting was convened today under the chairmanship of Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Thannamandi, Abid Hussain Shah (JKAS), to meticulously assess and finalize the arrangements for the forthcoming Independence Day celebrations. The meeting, held at meeting Hall of Government Degree College (GDC) Thannamandi where active participation from key officers /officials across various departments were witnessed to ensure better coordination٫ seamless and patriotic celebrations of event.
The meeting was attended by a wide range of officials, including the Principal of GDC Thannamandi, Sub Divisional Police Officer, Tehsildar, Block Development Officer, Station House Officer of Thannamandi Police Station, Child Development Project Officer ICDS, Zonal Education Officer, ZPEO Thannamandi as well as representatives from the Army, Public Works Department (PWD), Education Department, Traffic Police, Municipal Committee, and other relevant departments.
SDM Thannamandi, Abid Hussain Shah, emphasized the profound significance of Independence Day and highlighted the necessity of meticulous planning and inter-departmental coordination. He urged all departments to ensure a secure environment, efficient traffic management, and a vibrant cultural program that truly reflects the spirit of the nation’s freedom.
During the meeting, each department presented their detailed plans for the event, which were thoroughly examined to ensure they aligned with the overall objectives of the celebrations. The SDM directed all departments to execute their responsibilities with the utmost diligence, ensuring that every aspect of the event is conducted smoothly and efficiently.
