JAMMU DECEMBER 05:-‘On the directions of *Project Director Samagra Shiksha Deep Raj*, Directorate of Samagra Shiksha/PM Poshan, J&K under the aegis of School Education Department, in consultation with the *PFMS and J&K Bank GBB Team organized 2-Day Hands-on Orientation cum Workshop at both the Divisional Headquarters i.e. Srinagar and Jammu* for the participants for Kashmir and Jammu based participants respectively to impart the training to the PFMS dealing hands regarding implementation of SNA mode of funding under Samagra Shiksha & PM Poshan in UT of Jammu and Kashmir.
Mr. Ajeet Sharma, State Coordinator (Quality), Samagra Shiksha, J&K, welcomed all the participants and said that this training session will help learning about PFMS & GBB Portal of J&K Bank to operate upon SNA mode of funding under Samagra Shiksha. This off-line orientation cum workshop was attended by 190 members (at Jammu/Srinagar) dealing with PFMS for schemes viz Samagra Shiksha & PM Poshan at District Level and participants from various DIETs/Zones of different District. He also said that trainings are the only way-out to make the schemes get implemented in the best way and said that participants should listen to the Resource Person patiently to make this orientation fruitful and asked all participating officers and dealing assistants to fill the google form to share their overall experience. He said that, there should be uniformity in implementation of schemes in all the Districts and people in each District must learn the Skills pertaining to Digital literacy.
*Mr. Bilal Rashid, Deputy Director (Planning), Samagra Shiksha, J&K* while interacting with all Participants, asked them to learn the concepts of the modified procedure of funding during this 2-Day workshop and share the knowledge to their counterparts at District, Zone and School level to ensure timely utilization of funds under Samagra Shiksha and PM Poshan. He stressed that the Samagra Shiksha and PM Poshan officials must learn about each sub activities and mobilize the community. He assured authorities are working tirelessly for the overall development & every possible improvement in the Quality Education by providing the best facilities in the Government Schools of the J&K in both infrastructure as well as academics, besides quality and nutritious food under PM Poshan. *He further urged that Samagra Staff should act as brand ambassadors for promoting these schemes so that beneficiaries are able to reap their benefits.*
The master trainers from *PFMS Team Mr. Vinay Dhar (Project Manager) and Mr. Dheeraj Slathia (Operation Manager)* at Jammu elaborated the concepts/steps on PFMS portal like Activation of Bank Accounts on PFMS, Registration of vendors/beneficiaries, Mapping of already registered vendors/beneficiaries, making Payments via Electronic mode, Print Payment Advices, DBT and others meanwhile they also answered the queries of the participants well.
*Ms. Vandana Sharma & Mr. Mannyog Singh from J&K Bank GBB Team* shared their valuable points on working of GBB Portal on 2nd Day of workshop in forenoon at Jammu, the energetic and young Resource person from both organizations i.e. PFMS and J&K Bank made the workshop a best Learning experience for the participants amongst whom few were freshers to learn these concepts.
In the concluding remarks, *Mr. J. K. Padha, Administrative Officer, Samagra Shiksha, J&K said that Samagra Shiksha* is committed towards the provision of Quality Educational facilities and asked the, participants to pass on their learned experiences to the field functionaries at District level to make the overall functioning of the Samagra Shiksha improved with respect to the implementation of SNA mode of funding. The District Officials were asked to conduct the similar Orientation programs within the next week at District as well as Zonal level to orient the field functionaries about the PFMS & GBB portal of J&K Bank. *Mr. Roshan Javaid, Mr. Sohail Ahmed, Mr. Zubair Ahmed at Srinagar and Mr. Ichpal Singh, Mr. Rakesh Singh, Vikas Khajuria and Mr. Sartaj Ahmed coordinated the Workshop at Srinagar and Jammu respectively.*
