JAMMU JULY 17:–Speaking to the media, he highlighted that there has been no recruitment in the JKP for constables for over six years, which has adversely affected many youths whose ages now exceed the eligibility limit of 28 years.
Choudhary emphasized that many young people in Jammu and Kashmir had dreams of joining the police force, but the prolonged gap in recruitment has dashed these hopes for those now aged between 18 and 30.
He urged the authorities, including Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha and the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB), to consider providing age relaxation similar to what was given in the JKPSI recruitment.
Choudhary stressed that such a move is essential to secure the future of these young aspirants and give them a fair chance to serve in the police force.
