Riaz Gakhar stressed on creating drug free Rajouri ; Youth in Rajouri are talented and need a platform for creating self- sufficient avenues

RAJOURI FEB 16:-Social and political Activist Riaz Gakhar has expressed dismay over the drug menace happening all over the Rajouri Poonch. Expressing concern over the intake of drugs and other substances, Riaz Gakhar urged the rajouri administration to take a strong note of it and ensure that strong action is taken up against the drug peddlers.

Expressing concern over the issue, Riaz requested the parents of teenagers to keep watch on their children and ensure that they do not fall pray to this menace.

Besides this , he also demanded setting up of a drug de-addiction centre in Budhal, Palma, and Darhal inorder to help the youth in getting rid of this menace.

“Youth in the Pirpunjal region is talented however they lack the support and platform which would help them in becoming self reliant. It a matter of concern that youth getting detailed, the Adminstration should come up with schemes that would bring back the youth on track by engaging them in workspaces. Besides this Youth needs to opt for Sports activities aswell,” he said.
