Revenue camp for issue of domicile certificate at surankote

Surankote July 13:-On the directions of Rahul Yadav, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Poonch, a special revenue camp for issuance of Domicile Certificates was organised on 13.07. 2020 at Surankote. Advance information was given to the public of area through Lamberdars and Chowkidars of areas and Patwaries of the Halqas concerned. A large number of people of villages Samote, Surankote, Gonthal, and Potha participated in the camp. As many as 715 Domicile Certificates were issued to the applicants in the camp. Besides Chairman Surankote Muncipality, Mumtaz Ahmed Chowdhary, the ward Councillors of the area were also present in the camp. All the participants appreciated the decision of Tehsil Administration and particularly of the District Development Commissioner, Poonch for his directions to the field administration to serve the people at the door steps by holding of the special camps during the prevailing pandemic. The public hoped for such camps in future also. The camp was held under the chairmanship of Tehsildar Surankote, Sh. Sheraz Ahmed Chauhan. Naib Tehsildar Surankote,Sh . Tarif Hussain Shah, Naib Tehsildar Probationer, Sh. Parvaiz Ahmed and Patwaries of concerned Halqas as well as officials of Tehsil Surankote were present on the occasion and assisted the smooth functioning of the camp. SDM Surankote, Sh. Saleem Ahmed Quraishi , KAS, also appreciated the holding of camp at the main town of Surankote. He assured the public that such camps will also be held in future but at the same time asked for maintaining of social distance on priority.
