Saddam Hussain Appeals to District Administration for Immediate Action on Basic Amenities in Udhan Panchayat
RAJOURI DEC 23:-Renowned social activist Saddam Hussain has urged the district administration to take swift action to address the lack of basic amenities in the last boundary of Udhan Panchayat. Speaking on behalf of the affected residents, Hussain highlighted the dire situation where over 50 families, including those of Pulla Begum, Mohd Qusam, Mohd Alam, and Mohd Aslam, are struggling without access to electricity and water.
“This situation is nothing short of a humanitarian crisis. The absence of these essential services takes us back to conditions reminiscent of 1947. It is unacceptable that in this day and age, these families are being deprived of their fundamental rights,” said Hussain.
The lack of electricity and water has disrupted the lives of the residents, causing significant hardship. Women and children, in particular, are bearing the brunt of the crisis as they have to travel long distances to fetch water.
Saddam Hussain appealed to the district administration to prioritize this issue and ensure the provision of basic services at the earliest. “These families deserve the same dignity and access to facilities as any other citizen of this country,” he added.
Residents hope for immediate intervention to alleviate their suffering and restore normalcy to their lives.
