LANGATE, MAY 15: –JKNC Senior leader Mohammad Munawar Khawaja and many workers of National Conference today organised a Fateh Khawani on the 22nd Anniversary of painful
assassination of Abdul Ahad Kar, JKNC stalwart and former MLA.
The charismatic National Conference leader was assassinated on 15th May 1999 near his home in Village Manzpora Qalamabad area of Mawer Langate. Late Kar dedicated his whole life for Upliftment of people.
NC workers and well-wishers of the deceased leader included
Master Abdul Ahad Wani, Ghulam Rasool Malla, Malik Gh Hassan, Syed Abdul Qayoom Geelani, Mohamed Ashraf Malik, Ghulam Hassan Dar, G M Rather,
and Farooq Ahmad Naikoo recalled the contribution of Kar in the politico-economic development and empowerment of Langate constituency in
its most turbulent phase.
Mohammed Munawar Khawaja and others shared the pain and agony of Bashir Ahmad Kar, son of the late leader whole also Screfied his life for
promoting grassroots level democracy, economic development and restore
public faith in the historic Naya Kashmir Manifesto At the end, the meet condemned the savage fata.
