RAJOURI SEPT 27:-National Investigation Agency (NIA)- investigating a terror attack on a bus in Reasi district on June 9- on Friday (September 27) conducted searches at seven places in Rajouri and Reasi districts.
It is pertinent to mention here that 9 pilgrims, including 2 minors were killed in the terrorist attack in general area Pouni of Reasi district and in the attack two terrorists were involved.
Sources said during searches on Friday, NIA has seized incriminating material reportedly authenticating nexus between terrorists & Over ground Workers (OGWs) of the area.
During the investigation, which was handed over to NIA by the Ministry of Home Affairs on June 17, investigators had arrested one hard core OGW namely Hakam Khan @ Hakim Din resident of Sunderbani area in Rajouri district.
Hakim’s wife, son and few others were also rounded up by NIA for questioning. Hakim has admitted providing food, shelter, guidance to attack spots, helped terrorists escaping from the scene involved in the attack etc.
On Friday NIA searched the houses of OGWs, including Hakim Din and the forests where terrorists stayed for a few days.
