Rajouri: Work on 02 WSS under JJM worth Rs 129.38 lacs kickstarted by DDC in Nowshera subdivision ; Engineers directed for completing work well before set timelines

RAJOURI, JULY 27:– The work on Two water supply schemes including WSS Lamberi Lower and WSS Dandesar of Nowshera subdivision was today kickstarted by the District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal.

It is pertinent to mention here that both these schemes were approved under Jal Jeevan Mission at an estimated cost of Rs 64.69 lacs and 64.69 lacs respectively.

DDC congratulated the locals of the area and said that these schemes after getting completed, will benefit scores of people in nearby areas and their sufferings related to water supply will be mitigated to a great extent.

He also assured the public that all the households of the district would be provided functional tapped water connection with the implementation of the Jal Jeevan Mission on ground.

Directing the officers for ensuring time-bound completion work on the schemes, he asked them to personally monitor and expedite the pace of work so that local people will get uninterrupted water supply in their areas before the fixed timelines.
