Jammu, April 27:– “Youth from Rajouri and Poonch Districts shows brimming corporation with AJKYF’s digital protest” said Haroon Rashid, Spokesperson, All J&K Youth Federation (AJKYF) while holding digital protest against snapping of 4G internet services across J&K.
In a press statement issued here today, AJKYF Spokesperson, Haroon Rashid demanded early restoration of 4G internet services across the UT and said that people of the region are totally relying on the internet and digital communication platforms to access life saving information on covid-19 provided by the World Health Organization (WHO) and other medical experts.
AJKYF Spokesperson further said that even the doctors and the medical researchers are also struggling to access important information and have to wait for hours to download and access information such as guidelines for intensive care of the corona virus recommended by various health experts across the globe. He added that restriction of high speed internet access has also affected the students, entrepreneurs, journalists, social activists and others in the region specially in backward areas such as rural area of Rajouri and Poonch Districts.
Mr. Rashid urged upon the central and UT administration for early restoration of 4g high speed internet and also extended greeting to the people on the holy month of Ramzan by appealing them to offer their prayers from home and maintain social distance to prevent spreading of corona virus.
