Rajouri Police start programmes to celebrate Meri Maati Mera Desh to pay tributes to brave hearts

GNS ONLINE RAJOURI 

RAJOURI AUGUST 09:–In order to observe the twenty one days nationwide campaign Meri Maati Mera Desh, Rajouri police alongwith district administration has kick started various programmes in the district.

The aim of this initiative is to pay tributes to the brave hearts who laid down their lives for the motherland.

As part of this campaign, lightening up of Diyas was held at Government Higher Secondary School Baja Bain, Government Higher Secondary School Sunderbani.

Similarly, national flag was unfurled at Government High School Tanda, Kangri.

Alongside it, a plantation drive was also carried out at police station Sunderbani as well as municipal committee Sunderbani.

Rajouri Police further said that similar events will be organised in days to come for observing this nationwide campaign.

Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Vikas Kundal and SSP Rajouri Amritpal Singh were also present in these events alongwith other officers of civil and police administration.

The officers also interacted with students and civil society members.
