RAJOURI MAR 06:-Rajouri Police in it’s efforts to combat drug trafficking, Team of Police Station Kandi have apprehended two individuals and seized a substantial quantity of banned narcotic substances during a naka at Kotranka.
A police team from Police Station Kandi while conducting routine vehicle checking near Indoor Stadium Kandi intercepted a vehicle Santro Registration No. JK02-AN 5841 coming from Rajouri towards Kotranka.
During their Personal Search,the police recovered:Tapentadol, total 540 tablets
– Tramadol ,total 69 tablets
The accused have been identified as Ajaz Ahmed S/O Mohd Yaqoob resident of Kanthol Rajouri and Afraz Khan S/O Mohd Alyas resident of Khanyalkot Thanamandi.
A case under FIR No. 24/2025 has been registered at Police Station Kandi under relevant sections of the NDPS Act and further investigation is underway.
Rajouri Police remain committed to curbing the menace of drug trafficking and ensuring a drug-free society.
