Rajouri Police Organises Half Marathon 2025; Over 800 Participants Take Part in Anti-Drug, Unity Drive

RAJOURI DECM, 07:-Rajouri Police on Sunday organised the Half Marathon 2025, drawing an overwhelming response from the public with more than 800 participants from diverse age groups. The event carried a powerful message: “Every Step for Unity, Every Mile Against Drugs.”

The marathon was graced by Rajinder Sapru, Principal & Sessions Judge Rajouri, as the Chief Guest,Tejinder Singh (IPS), DIG RP Range, and  Abhishek Sharma (IAS), Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, attended as Guests of Honour.

DIG Tejinder Singh (IPS) flagged off the marathon and praised Rajouri Police for taking forward such an impactful initiative aimed at strengthening community engagement and promoting a healthy lifestyle among youth.

Rajouri Police had put in place comprehensive arrangements related to traffic management, medical assistance, hydration points, and security to ensure the event concluded smoothly and safely.

A special felicitation ceremony was held to honour top performers across multiple categories. Chief Guest  Rajinder Sapru, along with DIG Tejinder Singh, DC Abhishek Sharma, and SSP Rajouri Gourav Sikarwar (IPS), presented trophies, medals, and certificates to the winners.
