Rajouri Police Nabbed Drug Peddler with 2.66 Grams of Heroin

RAJOURI SEPTEMBER 18:-Rajouri Police Nabbed Drug Peddler with 2.66 Grams of Heroin Like Narcotic Substance at Chingus.

Police Party of PP Chingus while on naka duty at Kallar were doing routine checking of vehicles, when the person in Maruti ignis coming from nowshera towards Rajouri, naka party acted swiftly and apprehended him. On questioning he disclosed his identity as *Sajad Hussain Shah S/O Sarfaraz Hussain Shah Resident of Potha Surankote Poonch.* During his personal search the police recovered 2.66 grams of heroin-like narcotic substance from his possession.

In this regard a case FIR No. 472/2025 U/S 8/21/22/25 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Rajouri and further investigation is underway to ascertain his possible links with a larger drug network.
