RAJOURI MAR 27:-In a decisive action against drug smuggling, Rajouri Police have booked a chronic drug smuggler under the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (PITNDPS). The accused, identified as Mohd Waqar s/o Nazir Hussain R/O Dhanore Gorsian Tehsil and District Rajouri.He has been detained after a warrant of detention was issued by the Competent Authority.
The action comes as part of Rajouri Police’s continued crackdown on drug traffickers and peddlers operating in Rajouri.
Rajouri Police reiterated their commitment to a drug-free Rajouri and warned that stringent legal measures will continue against those involved in illicit drug activities.
