RAJOURI NOVEMBER 16:–Tightening noose against violation of Motor Vehicles rules, Rajouri Police on Thursday launched a district wide drive and fined one hundred and sixty six violators besides effecting seizure of seven vehicles whereas one case has been registered in Manjakote police station for dangerous driving.
On the directions of District Police Office Rajouri, dedicated police teams from police station and police post levels launched drive and installed surprise nakas at multiple places intercepting violators of traffic rules.
During this drive, 166 violators have been fined for violating rules of different nature.
Similarly, 7 vehicles have also been seized by police teams for grave violation of norms.
Along with this, a case in FIR 108/23 U/Ss 279, 336 IPC has been registered at Manjakote police station for dangerous driving endangering life of passengers and pedestrians.
Rajouri Police further appealed all the people to follow traffic rules in letter and spirit and to ensure a proper coordination to the law enforcement agency for prevention of accidents on road.
