Rajouri Police & Traffic Department Intensify Enforcement; 126 Challaned, 17 Vehicles Seized During Special Drive

RAJOURI DECM, 12:-District Police Rajouri in coordination with the Traffic Police conducted a special drive across the district to ensure strict enforcement of the Motor Vehicles Act and improve road safety.

*Police Station Kandi registered four separate cases* against passenger vehicle operators for overloading thereby endangering passenger safety and violating MV Act provisions.

As part of a focussed checking initiative District Police and Traffic Police jointly targeted vehicles registered outside the Union Territory that had not been transferred in the name of the present owner.

Jammu and Kashmir Police has advised the general public to follow traffic rules and particularly owners of vehicles registered outside J&K to ensure timely transfer of ownership.
