Rajouri,January,24: – The full dress rehearsal for the Republic Day concluded successfully in Rajouri on Sunday.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Sher Singh took salute at an impressive march past of contingents drawn from Police,CRPF,Forest Protection Force,NCC and students of different educational institutions besides Police Band took part in a full dress rehearsal held at District Police Line Rajouri.
The students also presented scintillating cultural items based on patriotism,cultural traditions and social evils including physical display which was highly liked by the audience present on the occasion.
District Magistrate Rajouri,Rajesh K Shavan and Senior Superintendent of Police Chandan Kohli who were also present on the occasion personally monitored all the activities carried out on the day.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner urged upon the parade contingents and students to show their performance more skillfully and enthusiastically on the scheduled day so that the event can be celebrated in a smooth,faultless and in a successful manner.
Among the others present on the occasion include SSP,Chandan Kohli,ASP Liyaqat Chowdhary,CEO RDA,Vivek Puri,SE PHE,SR Shukla,ACR,Mohd Ashraf,DSEO,Bilal Rashid Mir,CEO Education,Gulzar Hussain,ExEn Jal Shakti Rajouri,Mushtaq Ahmed,ExEn PWD Rajouri,Mohd Zubair,ExEn PMGSY Rajouri,Subash Chander,ExEn PMGSY Budhal,Abdul Gani and all the district officers were present.
