Public grievances redressal camp held at Dhangri under Weekly Block Divas.

As part of weekly Block Divas, a public grievances redressal camp was chaired on Wednesday by Vi kas Kundal, DDC at Dhangri in Rajouri district.
District Administration would make tireless efforts to alleviate public difficulties and give a push to each sector for the holistic development of the region” said DDC.
Various issues raised by the representatives of the public include the bad condition of the roads, macadamization of roads, up-gradation of government institutions, better health care facilities, paucity of staff etc.
Specific demands projected included renovation of Dhangri to Dova road, provision of drainage system along roads, removal of illegal encroachments alongside roads, augmentation of water supply, provision of electric poles and coverage of the area under Jal Jeevan mission.
Other major issues raised include checks on Illegal mining, commissioning of the irrigation scheme at Saranoo, meeting the shortage of power distribution transformers, timely payments under PMAY, check on inflated electricity bills etc.
Public representatives also demanded the start of the work on the bridge at Badhoon-B, maintaining the quality of developmental works, scheduled power cuts, completion of work on borewell at Badhoon-B, and inclusion of left out beneficiaries under PMAY-G etc.
Speaking on this occasion the officers of various departments aware people about various schemes launched by the government & also highlighted achievements achieved under various welfare schemes and also responded to public quarries.
The DDC termed the Block Divas as an important administrative intervention and asked the officers to use this platform optimally for service delivery and alleviating public grievances.
Referring to scores of self-employment generation schemes being implemented under ‘mission youth’ and others, the DDC urged the youth to avail the benefits and set up their income generating units.
Vikas Kundal, DDC advised the people to keep a close eye on the developmental activities under execution to ensure that quality is maintained while executing the developmental works for the longevity of the projects.
On implementation of the Jal Jeevan Mission, the DDC said: “Scores of schemes were being executed in the area soon”.
He also inspected under construction Fish Farm at Bindi and other developmental projects.
Those present on this occasion include BDC Chairperson Dhangri, Tazeem Akhter; ACD, Vijay Kumar; CPO, Mohammad; SE Hydraulics, JP Singh; PO ICDS, Kartar Singh; CAHO, Dr Fazal Hussain; ARTO, Shami Kumar; Executive Engineers from the Jal Shakti, PWD, PDD, PMGSY, REW and senior district/sectoral officers.
