JAMMU JANUARY 25:-Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, on Tuesday felicitated Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mohd Alyas Khan, a son of the soil, with an Appreciation Award in recognition of his exemplary performance in election management.

Mohd Alyas Khan was adjudged Best District Election Officer (DEO) for successfully ensuring the free, fair and peaceful conduct of elections in district Ramban. The award acknowledges his meticulous planning, effective inter-departmental coordination, and strong teamwork, which played a pivotal role in ensuring smooth and transparent electoral processes.

The Lieutenant Governor lauded the efforts of the Ramban district administration for upholding democratic values and maintaining law and order throughout the election period. He emphasized that efficient leadership, professionalism and collective teamwork are key to strengthening the democratic framework of the Union Territory.
