SRINAGAR OCT, 27:-A powerful message of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s on 14 August perfomance titled “Vibhajan EK Vibhishika,” directed by Dr Anjalee Adaa and written by Dr. Prakash Jha, was presented at Tagore Hall in Srinagar on October 25. The event, organized by the Shanti Manas Foundation and J&K Academy of Art, Culture, and Languages in collaboration with International Human Rights Organization (IHRO), drew a diverse audience and sparked renewed conversation about the human impact of partition and communal strife.
Those Artists performed are Dr.Anjalee Adaa, Mangat Ram, Ravi Shanker, Dr Mukti Sharma Tickoo , Keshav Savar Kaul, Ayesha Habib, Mantasha, Iyesha, Ainain and Asra
The presentation combined spoken word, minimal staging, and evocative lighting to underline the emotional weight of the message. The text—originally authored by Dr. Prakash Jha and framed as a message by Prime Minister Modi—explores the trauma and legacy of partition while calling for compassion, reconciliation, and a forward-looking national unity. Director Anjalee Adaa crafted a restrained, contemplative production that allowed the words to remain central, supported by measured performances from a cast of local and visiting artists.
Those Present on this occasion are Mr Brig Mohan Sharma, Principal Secretary Department of Culture graced the event as a chief guest, while Mrs Harvinder Kour, Secretary J&K Cultural academy, attended as a guest of honour.
