People Pin hopes in new DC for action against corruption.

Rajouri February 02:–‘The work culture in the government offices has changed from what it was earlier when employees don’t care to meet the poor and needy people, after new Deputy Commissioner Rajesh K.Shavan in an introductory meeting said not to tolerate inefficeny & corruption.

Rajesh Shavan joined at Rajouri on January 18.
During his introductory meeting with the District & Sectoral Officers, Rajesh Shavan stressed upon speedy execution of the development works & holistic development of the district.
He asked the officers to work with utmost dedication and commitment for the general welfare of the public.

“Put in extra efforts to provide all the basic amenities to people and be proactive in redressing the public grievances. The officers should work with utmost dedication and commitment for the general welfare of the public” asked DC to the officers.

DDC swift action was witnessed when he withheld the salaries of CEO and Chief Executive Officer of Rajouri Development for leaving the station without prior approval /remaining absent from a review meeting.

At DC’s directions first time lunch and comfortable matting was provided to the students who took part in Republic Day celebrations.

Recently he visited Fodder Farm of Sheep & the Animal Husbandry department to resolve the long-pending issue of about 2880 kanals of land encroached by the locals and directed the Revenue officials/officers for the demarcation/fencing of the land in the presence of concerned officers/Officials.
During a surprise visit to Associated Hospital & Government Medical College (AH&GMC) on January 30, Rajesh Shavan, DC warned the doctors for criminal proceedings if found practicing (privately) during duty hours.

The Initial actions of Deputy Commissioner have pinned hopes in the people for early action against the corrupt officers/officials and corruption almost in every department.
