**Champions Compensation for Recent Military Conflict Victims of Pirpunjal Region ; Martyrs’ status, bunkers, permanent housing, 20 lakh minimum compensation for Martyers 5 lakh minimum for injured, Dr Safeer Demanded**
JAMMU MAY 26:-Dr. Safeer Choudhary, a Socio-Political activist and prominent community leader, from PPirpunjal led a peaceful protest outside the Press Club in Jammu, advocating for urgent, timely, and genuine compensation for the victims of the recent conflict between India and Pakistan in the region. The demonstration attracted significant attention as Safeer Choudhary articulated the pressing needs of families affected by Pakistani shelling, destruction, and losses.
During the protest, Choudhary’s team displayed several placards. Dr. Safeer Choudhary presented a series of demands aimed at ensuring justice and assistance for those impacted by the conflict:
Compensation for Martyrs’ Families, A demand for Rs. 2,000,000 (20 lakh) Minimum each for the families of those who lost their lives during the conflict, acknowledging their ultimate sacrifice.
Compensation for Damaged Houses, A call for financial assistance to rebuild homes that have been destroyed or severely damaged due to Pakistani shelling, supported by a genuine assessment by the concerned technical team.
Compensation for Livestock and Other Valuable Animals who lost lives and many injured An appeal for compensation to farmers and those reliant on livestock who suffered losses, ensuring their livelihoods can be restored.
Compensation for the Injured A claim for Rs. 500,000 (5 lakh) for individuals who sustained injuries in the conflict, addressing their medical and rehabilitation needs.
Dr. Safeer Choudhary emphasized, “It is our duty to stand with the victims of the conflict. Each day, families face hardships due to loss and destruction. Our voices must be heard, and it is imperative for the government to act swiftly and compassionately.”
The protest served as a significant platform for raising awareness about the ongoing plight of conflict-affected individuals in Pir Panchal and underscored Choudhary’s commitment to advocating for their rights and needs.
As the situation continues to evolve, Choudhary and his supporters call on local authorities to respond to these vital demands and provide the necessary support to those suffering.
Dr. Safeer Choudhary also demanded shelter homes and war bunkers for each individual family in the districts of Poonch and Rajouri, also known as the Pir Panjal region. This region, situated on the Line of Control, has seen its people lose their lives and livelihoods due to Pakistani shelling over the past 75 years. The Central Government must announce a special package for this region.
Choudhary also called for the establishment of a Government Medical College in Poonch District, citing that the lack of medical infrastructure and a shortage of doctors has resulted in many preventable deaths during these conflicts.
Choudhary also demands martyrs’ status, bunkers, permanent housing & enhanced compensation for border victims in Poonch and Rajouri. He also said We’re not asking for charity, but justice for those paying the ultimate price at the LoC.”” We urge the Central Govt & J&K UT administration to act.
Safeer Choudhary also warned the government that these demands must be fulfilled; otherwise, there will be consequences for their inaction, and we, the people of pir panchal, will sit on long protest till our demands full filled other dignatries Molana Mohd Sabir , Aap Leader Altaf Hussain Shah, Mohd Rizwan, Mohd Nadeem , Mohd Anwar, Anzal ,Irfan , Sheraz, Riyaz, Sarfraz Poswal, Parwaiz and Many others joined the protest.
