PDP allege political favourite by some officers in Rajouri ; Says officers visiting field with leaders of a party not a good sign

RAJOURI MAY 24:–District President of People’s Democratic Party and spokesperson of party in UT, Tazeem Dar said that some Government officers in Rajouri are resorting to open favourtism on political ground and can be seen holding indoor meetings with leaders of a political party and also holding field visits and inspecting development projects.

In his statement, Dar said that unless there is equality in any society, it is impossible for that society to flourish.

He said that the way some Government officers are bowing down in front of the one political group in Rajouri District, it seems that they are the enemy of equality.

‘We had high hopes from the LG Administration , but alas, all hopes have been dashed,” Tazeem Dar Said.

Dar further said that Section 15 of the Human Rights Act 2019 says that: Every person has the right to recognition as a person before the law. Every person has the right to enjoy the person’s human rights without discrimination, Every person is equal before the law and is entitled to the equal protection of the law without discrimination and If the Government servants works like an affiliate of any political party, people will lose faith and the history to come will keep them in the list of collaborators.

“On daily basis, activists of the one political group are taking government officials with them and making them dance on their tunes which is shameful,”Dar said.

Dar advised Government Administration that if the setup wants that the confidence of the people must be restored than they should look at the people without discrimination on the basis of caste color creed religion and political affiliations in any way and this is only way the setup will be able to prove itself right in front of the Almighty God and people.

He added that some Engineers of Government departments have been seen making rounds at development project sites with these leaders who claim review of work which is totally unlawful practice and clearly expose that these engineers are sliding towards the political leaders.

He further said that another photograph has gone viral wherein a meeting of party workers is going on and two senior officers are sitting in it which is not a healthy sign.

PDP have appealed Jammu and Kashmir Government as well as district administration Rajouri to ask field officers not to resort to such favouritism openly as it weakens public’s trust.
