THANNAMANDI JANUARY 06 :–A daily-wager of the Power Development Department (PDD) was electrocuted to death in Rajdhani area of Thannamandi on thursday,

An official said that the employee identified as Wali Mohammad son of Makhna of Banghai Thannamdi died on the spot due to electric shock

Station House Officer (SHO) told that an FIR has been registered. “An investigation has been taken up in the matter,” he said.

Abdul Qayoom Mir.DDC member reached on spot and.demands that govt job for his wife and proper compensation should provided to the.family.of deceased . He said a detail.probe should be ordered against the erring officials of.PDD.

Meanwhile the relatives of deceased family block the road at Chhurungh bridge and protest against the administration . They also raised slogans against administration .
