Panic after bag spotted near army hospital on Monday night.

Rajouri April 06:–At about 10.30 pm on Monday, an alert was sounded after an abandoned black & red bag was spotted on the side Jammu-Poonch highway in the vicinity of 150 GH (Army hospital) in Rajouri town.
The bag was reportedly spotted by the security guards on duty between the main gate of army hospital and ECHS polyclinic opposite to highly sensitive Army’s location.
Immediately all types of movement were stopped on the highway and police were also called.
The police team headed by the inspector Sameer Jillani reached the spot along with senior army officers and bomb disposal team of the army was also called in.
“After the bag was checked for any type of explosive, which was not detected, it was opened and some clothes, a cold drink bottle and a packet of sugar along with other items was found in the bag” said SHO.
The bag was seized by the police for further investigation and the movement of traffic was restored.
