MENDHAR APRIL 27:-‘BDC Chairperson Mendhar Tahira Jabeen thanked the Governor’s Administration for the opening of the Mughal Road and said that due to the opening of Mughal Road a large number of students, employees, sick people and other people have come and gone. This will make it easier for the sick people to get their treatment in a good way and the students will be able to continue their journey for the sake of their quality education with ease. Goods will be taken away easily. Tahira said that after hearing the news of the opening of the Mughal Highway, the people of the region thanked the Governor’s administration and the people are very happy that fresh fruits and vegetables will also be available from Kashmir. She has appealed to the Lt Governor and central government to build a tunnel on the Mughal highway so that it can run for 12 months and make it easier for the people of the region to come and go. Tahira Jabeen further said that the budget cut in Mgnegra is regrettable. On the one hand, the Prime Minister in his speech in Jammu said that we have empowered the Panchayats but unfortunately in 2021. 22 the Funds of TSP, BADP and -15 FC have also not been received. The UT administration is demanded to increase the fund of the different schemes to ensure construction and development in the panchayats.
