One terrorist killed, cop & soldier injured in an ongoing gunfight in Reasi district

RAJOURI, SEPTEMBER 04:–PRO (Defence) Jammu Lt Col Suneel Bartwal said that the Indian Army & J&K police in a joint operation have killed one terrorist in the general area Tuli Basana, near Chassana in Reasi district, in the ensuing encounter in the evening on Monday.
Sources said another terrorist was holed up inside a house in the village and the operation is still in progress to eliminate him.
PRO also informed that in an ensuing firefight, a soldier and a cop were also injured.
At the time of filing this report, PRO said: “Further details are being ascertained and will be shared subsequently”.
Earlier ADGP Jammu Zone, Mukesh Singh informed that the encounter started in Reasi district on the basis of police input regarding the presence of two terrorists in a house in the Tuli area of Chassana.
Reliable sources said that two terrorists entered the house in the morning and asked the family to prepare tea for them.
Meanwhile, reportedly one of the family members managed to inform the police about the presence of terrorists, and acting swiftly Army & police cordoned off the village to eliminate the terrorists.
