RAJOURI SEPTEMBER 29;-‘The Chief Education Officer (CEO) Rajouri in an order issued on Wednesday has closed his office till October 1st after an employee was found Covid-19 positive.
On Monday the CEO had closed a private higher secondary in Thanamandi town for five days after 32 students of class 10th to 12th were found positive.
They were isolated in the CCC at Planger and their RT_PCR tests are being conducted besides intensive testing of their immediate contacts/family members.
Ch.Gulzar Hussain, CEO in the order has advised all the officials of his office and the persons remain in contact with his office to remain in isolation /self quarantine and get themselves tested from nearby testing center.
During the ongoing enforcement drive to implement Covid protocol across Rajouri district, the Enforcement teams today collected fines worth Rs 27,000/- from those roaming without masks and violating other Covid-19 SOPs.
The people have been advised to maintain Covid Appropriate Behaviour strictly and get Covid vaccination doses at the nearest Covid Vaccination Center.
According to State Media Bulletin on Covid-19 as many as 6944 beneficiaries above 18 years of age were administered the first (1487) and the second (5457) Covid vaccine doses across the district on Wednesday taking the overall percentage to 70%.
On Tuesday out of 1733 reports received, two persons were found positive.
There are 66 active cases in the district at present out of 7349 positive cases
