Oath taking ceremony for newly elected teachers association held at BGSBU campus.

Rajouri November 20 :-Election Commission , comprising of Dr.Sushil Verma chairman Dr.Aasim Mir, Manmeet Singh ,Shafqat & Dr.Nassem Gul, that recently organised fool proof elections for BGSBU Teachers Association (BGSBUTA), also organised oath taking ceremony for the elected office bearers.
Dr. Zaheer Abbas, Head Department of Mathematical Sciences, was sworn in as President ,Dr.Mohd Azam of Department of Arabic, Nikhil Gupta, Head Department of Information Technology (Engineering), Vinay Kumar, Department of Management Studies,Vishal Sharma Pahari and Yasir Arafat both from School Of Engineering & Technology (SOET) also took oath as Vice-President, Gen Secretary, Treasurer and Joint Secretaries respectively.
The oath taking process was conducted by the Assistant Professors namely Manmeet Singh & Shafqat Mughal (SOET).
“Today will be remembered as a remarkable day in the history of the University because we have established a platform (BGSBUTU) in a democratic way which will work for the welfare of the University in general and teachers fraternity in particular” said Dr Zaheer Abbas.
Since unity is the key for the success of any association, we the teachers need to join hands and put heads together, in order to make successful implementation of the positive plans of the Association, he added.
“The elected team would work tirelessly for the welfare of the teachers and will go for real projection of the long pending issues of the trachets and the redressal of the same in a time bound manner” added Dr Zaheer.
Dr. Mohd Azam said that he would leave no stone unturned to work for the betterment of the teachers.
Nikhil Gupta, exhorted upon all the teaching faculty to come forward on the same platform, so that a congenial atmosphere may be witnessed in the University, for the welfare of the university.                                                       Other Office bearers, in their speeches said that BGSBUTA shall deliberate upon various issues and intend to carry forward the progress under all sectors in coordination with university administration.
Elected members also thanked Dean Academic affairs, Prof. Iqbal Parwez, Prof. Mohd Asghar, Prof. Naseem, Prof. G. M. Malik and Prof. Asif for their presence on this important occasion.                                                
Prof.Iqbal Parwez congratulated the President and his team and wished them to maintain the dignity of the university and to work for the betterment of the Institution.
Among others, heads of various Departments, officers from Vice chancellor’s secretariate, Menaz, president of non-teaching association along with his office bearers and many members from the teaching fraternity were also present in the function.
Dr.Naseem Gul conducted the proceedings of the programme.
