Nighat Mir expresses solidarity with the fire victims of Iqbal colony Baramulla ;Government must provide ex-gratia to the affected family on a priority basis.

BARAMULLA, MARCH 20 :- Councillor MC Baramulla Nighat Mir  expressed deep solidarity with the victims of Iqbal Colony Baramulla whose house was completely destroyed in the blaze.

In a statement issued here, Nighat Mir demanded that the victims of the fire be provided temporary shelter in any nearby government residence, so as to mitigate the suffering of this deserving family.

“The administration should ensure that the family is provided with temporary accommodation, until their residence is reconstructed,” She demanded.

She also urged the management to send assessment teams to Ground Zero in Iqbal colony Baramulla to take notice of the situation and issue the required Ex Gratia in their favor.

“Nighat Mir appeals to the administration to help the family who have lost everything in this unfortunate fire incident and to assess the damage properly so that they can be compensated as soon as possible.
