Nehru yuva kendra Poonch organised awareness programme on “water conservation” at GDC Mandi

Mandi, April 02:–Nehru Yuva kendra Poonch in collaboration with Govt.Degree college Mandi organised awareness programme on water conservation in which a symposium(speech competition) on the theme “water conservation:catch the rain water” was organized with full zeal and enthusiasm at GDC Mandi.This Programme was coordinated by Mohd Adil Hamdani President Hamdani Youth club Mandi, Global peace society Mandi. Mrs. Asiya shabnum were also present on the occasion.Nine speaks amongst the students from sem 1st and sem 3rd namely Asiya Kouser, Yasmeen Akhter, Nazia Muneer, Massarat Fatima, Mehnaz Mushtaq, Sonia Bashir, Mohd Arif, Nadra Farooq and iqra Mubeen took part in competition. Proceedings of the programe were conducted by Dr. Aurangzeb Anjum,the role of judges were performed by Dr. Sheraz Mir, Dr.Mehboob Ahmed and Dr. Basharat shaheen.The function was presided over by Principal of the college Dr.Mohd Azam who in his speech encouraged the students, staff and members from Nehru Yuva Kendra Poonch for organizing such a nice function.Vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Razaq. At the end prize distribution was helped by Dr. Sheraz Mir. First prize was given to Mehnaz Mushtaq, 2nd to Nazia Muneer and 3rd prize was bagged by Musarat fatima.
