Nehru yuva kendra Poonch celebrated vigilance awareness day at Block Mandi.

Mandi, November 03:–Nehru Yuva kendra Poonch celebrates vigilance awareness day with full zeal and enthusiasm at Block Mandi on dated 2-11-2020.This programme was coordinated by NYV Mohd Adil from Nehru Yuva Kendra Poonch, Ministry of youth affairs and sports(Government of India)along with Hamdani Youth club Mandi.In this programme number of youths participated from different areas of Block Mandi.Mr sajjad Ahmed Banday acted as a chief resource person.He said,This is observed every year during the week in which the birthday of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel (31st October) falls. This awareness week campaign affirms our commitment to promotion of integrity and probity in public life through citizen participation.He expressed his appreciation for the programme and the way it was organised by Mohd Adil.In his speech Adil said, Vigilance is of three types – preventive, participative and punitive. Preventive vigilance involves studying the organization ,its policies and its people; and implementing effective measures so that these do not become vulnerable to corruption.
On the occasion, “integrity pledge” was taken by all the participants.The participants pledged to maintain integrity, transparency, accountability and fairness in every work. They also committed to good corporate governance and to promote ethical business practice.At the end refreshment were given to the participants.The programme concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by NYV MOHD ADIL.
