Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan gains momentum in Rajouri ; Awareness events, mass pledge ceremonies among other activities being organised to educate public

RAJOURI, SEPTEMBER 08:–Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan is in full swing in Rajouri and a series of awareness events and mass pledge ceremonies are being organised by the stakeholder departments to sensitize the people about the challenges posed by the menace.

The anti drug activities are being organised across the district under the overall supervision of the Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Kundal.

Stakeholder Departments are organising multifarious activities to highlight the need to discourage the growing drug abuse in the society.

The people, especially youth are being educated about the disastrous effects of drugs and the role of parents in protecting their children from falling into the addiction trap

The youth are also advised to take part in constructive activities like sports and choose life not drugs. Government has taken a slew of measures to fight this menace but the cooperation of society is a must to curb the menace.

Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal has also sought support of all sections of society for the success of the anti drug campaign in the district saying that everyone has to make his/her contribution and support the efforts of the District Administration to achieve the goal of a drug-free district.
