RAJOURI SEPT 23:-Several Muslim organisations on Tuesday held a peaceful protest in Rajouri against the Uttar Pradesh Government’s recent registration of FIRs over the “I Love Muhammad” banner issue.
The protest march began from Abdullah Bridge and culminated at Markazi Jamia Masjid Eidgah, passing through Gujjar Mandi, with participants raising slogans of “I Love Muhammad.”
Addressing the gathering, Molana Mohd Farooq, District President of Anjuman Ahle Sunnet, urged people to uphold Hindu-Muslim-Sikh brotherhood and refrain from actions that could hurt any religion. “We must preserve harmony and not allow hatred to divide us,” he said.
Molana Ghulam Rasool, Khatib of Jamia Masjid, along with religious scholars Molana Hanif Raza, Molana Mohd Younis Wan,Tazeem Dar and Asif Bhat also addressed the gathering.
The protest concluded peacefully with a collective prayer for communal harmony and national integration.
