RAJOURI FEBRUARY 16;-MLA Rajouri, Iftkhar Ahmed, on Sunday kick-started the construction work of two much-awaited road projects in Nagrota Mehra and Nagrota Saldar panchayats, fulfilling a long-pending demand of the local residents.
The projects were formally inaugurated in the presence of local elders, panchayat representatives, and party workers. The new roads are expected to significantly improve connectivity, ease transportation issues, and provide better access to essential services for the people of both panchayats.
Speaking on the occasion, Iftkhar Ahmed said that improving rural infrastructure remains one of his top priorities. He assured the public that development works would continue across the Rajouri constituency to address the genuine needs of the people.
Residents of Nagrota Mehra and Nagrota Saldar expressed gratitude to the MLA for taking up the projects, stating that the demand for proper road connectivity had been pending for years. They said the construction of these roads would benefit students, farmers, traders, and patients by ensuring smoother and safer travel.
Locals warmly welcomed the MLA during his visit and appreciated his efforts towards fulfilling public commitments and accelerating developmental activities in the area.
