RAJOURI MAR 27:-MLA Rajouri Iftkhar Ahmed was given a grand reception at Dakbanglow, Rajouri, where a large crowd gathered and raised slogans in his favor, appreciating his efforts in addressing key regional issues.
He has been actively advocating for Gujjar, Bakerwal, and Pahari reservations, supporting PoJK displaced persons, and promising a new Degree College in Dhangri. Additionally, he has strongly raised concerns about Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU), issues at Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri, and tourism development in Rajouri constituency to boost the local economy.
In the assembly, MLA Rajouri also demanded a fair ration card system and raised the issue of injustices by the Forest Department against poor people, condemning the harassment of marginalized communities under forest laws.
Furthermore, he strongly demanded Tehsil status for Doongi and a Community Health Centre (CHC) for Kallar Chatyar, highlighting the urgent need for better governance and healthcare facilities in these areas.
Recognizing the youth’s passion for sports, he also advocated for the establishment of an International Cricket Stadium in Rajouri, aiming to promote sports culture and provide a platform for young talent in the region.
