SRINAGAR AUGUST 06:-In a significant outreach initiative, MLA Ahsan Pardesi today visited KMDA Adda to assess the situation firsthand and listen to the concerns of traders and transporters operating in the area. He was joined by a delegation of the Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation (KTMF) led by its General Secretary Mohammad Altaf Dar Rajbagh.
The KTMF team comprised senior leaders Farooq Ahmed Batqoo, Sheikh Hilal Ahmed, Mohammad Shafi Wani, Sajad Ahmed Dar, and KMDA Adda President Surgeet Singh. Together, they interacted with stakeholders, shopkeepers, and local service providers to highlight pressing grievances and infrastructural challenges, particularly in the aftermath of a recent fire incident.
The delegation emphasized the urgent need for administrative attention towards safety protocols, sanitation, proper space management, and restoration of basic facilities at the adda. Traders also called for long-term planning to ensure business continuity and secure livelihoods.
KTMF deeply appreciates MLA Ahsan Pardesi’s personal presence, compassionate approach, and assurance to take up the matter with concerned authorities for swift redressal. His visit has renewed hope among the local business community for meaningful change.
