SRINAGAR JANUARY 03:–The lack of essential amenities at the Children Hospital Bemina has been highlighted by Congress General Secretary Mir Ruvais, who is calling for urgent intervention from the LG Administration to mitigate the distressing situation.

Expressing grave concern over the absence of vital medical equipment such as MRI and CT scan machines, Mir ,emphasized the hardships faced by the community seeking medical assistance. The absence of these diagnostic tools not only hampers the accurate diagnosis of ailments but also prolongs the suffering of the children and adds burdens on their parents.

Furthermore, the deteriorating road conditions leading to the hospital premises have caused a considerable influx of road dust, posing health risks to the already vulnerable patients. Studies have indicated that this dust adversely affects the health of the children, exacerbating their ailments.

In addition to the medical equipment and road conditions, the inadequate functionality of toilet facilities within the hospital premises has amplified the suffering of both the young patients and their caregivers. The lack of proper sanitation poses a serious health hazard, further compromising the already fragile condition of the children.

Mir , in a plea urged the LG Administration, stressed the urgent need for immediate humanitarian action to rectify these critical deficiencies. Addressing these issues on priority grounds is vital to safeguard the lives of the young patients and alleviate the distress faced by their families during these challenging times.
